6161 Tecumseh Road facility expanded to "the size of two football fields" to accommodate automotive production lines.

Valiant moves to facility at 6161 Tecumseh Rd. Valiant develops equipment featuring state-of-the-art underwater leak test systems to test the V-6 engine blocks that would go into production in new Windsor Ford Engine plant in 1991.
Valiant International, Inc. is launched in Troy, Michigan, strengthening the company's engineering capabilities.
Valiant Tool & Mold division established.
Subsidiary Valco Manufacturing established, supplying in-house fabrication. 40,000-square-feet is added to the facility at 7470 Tecumseh Rd. E.
Santo Piccinato joins the company; name changed to Valiant Machine & Tool Inc. Company moves to larger facility at 7470 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor.
Mike Solcz opens Avco Tool & Die in a 1,200-square-foot factory in Walkerville, Ontario. Stan Stepp joins company as a 50 percent partner.
